Breakfast Berry Blast Smoothie

Ingredients

1-2 tbsp any of Minvita Superfood or Superfruit Powders
1 cup frozen blueberries, raspberries, strawberries, blackberries, cranberries
1 cup water or milk of your choice (almond, soy, coconut)
1 tsp Minvita Chia Superfood Seeds
1 ripe banana

For a nourishing and nutrient-filled start to your day, try our Breakfast Berry Blast. The fabulous thing about this smoothie is just it’s extremely versatile and you can switch up the ingredients to suit your personal taste, as well as whizzing in the Superfruit or Superfood Powder of your choice depending on your nutrition needs. For example if you have a weak immune system and could benefit from getting more zinc into your diet, go for our Mulberry Superfood Powder – or if your body is craving more calcium, opt for our Maca Superfood Powder. The possibilities are endless!

1. First, put your fruit – the berries and banana – into your blender with a cup of water or milk and blast on high until the contents are thoroughly mixed

2. Add any other ingredients you want, as long as you keep the ‘base’ of berries and banana the same you can add literally whatever you like! Melon, peach, grapefruit, apple… whichever fruits you fancy. Pop a tablespoon or two of the Minvita Superfruit or Superfood Powder of your choice in at this stage, also – you can even mix and match if you like!

3. Whizz the mixture for twenty to thirty seconds on high, or until your smoothie is looking perfectly blended and ready to enjoy

4. Sprinkle a teaspoon of our Chia Superfood Seeds on top for an extra energy boost

Tip: Frozen raspberries chopped in half will make your Breakfast Berry Blast look even more tempting – just make sure you carefully place them onto the top of your smoothie to ensure that they float and don’t sink to the bottom!
