Energy Boosting Maca Smoothie


1 tbsp Minvita Maca Superfood Powder
2 cups of spring greens (e.g. kale or spinach)
1 peeled banana
1 cup red grapes
1 cored pear
1/4 cup nuts (e.g. almonds or walnuts)
1 cup water

If you’re feeling lethargic and slow, our energy boosting smoothie will add a spring to your step and help you to overcome that ‘afternoon slump’. Our Maca Superfood Powder contains high levels of calcium, iron, potassium and zinc, so increased productivity and a delicious pick-me-up are on the menu with this recipe!

1. Pop the greens, banana, grapes and pear to your blender with a cup of water and blast on high until the fruit and vegetables are combined

2. Add a spoonful of our Maca Superfood Powder into the blender along with the nuts of your choice, and whizz for twenty to thirty seconds

3. Your smoothie should be ready when it looks beautifully thick. Drink up for the energy boost you’ve been searching for!

Tip: To add an extra element of energy and pep to your smoothie add a spoonful of our Chia Superfood Seeds at Step 2, or follow our lead with what we like to do – which is top our smoothies with them!
