The Wellness Junction's Aguaje Raspberry & Cinnamon Porridge

40g gluten-free oats
250ml almond milk
1-2 sticks fresh cinnamon bark or 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
2 tbsp ground flax seeds
1 tbsp Minvita Aguaje Superfruit Powder
1 cup frozen or fresh raspberries

Oh do we have a wonderful porridge recipe to share with you today! But first, let’s meet this recipe’s just as wonderful creator. You’ve actually met Stiana of The Wellness Junction before – in our roundup of the healthiest feeds to follow.

Yes, we’re thinking this porridge must have some magic motivation within and we’re going to be enjoying it by the mighty bowlful!

There’s definitely some beautifying magic in one of the ingredients: our Aguaje Superfruit Powder, abundant in the phytoestrogens, vitamins and minerals that bring great health to the skin, body and hair.

Already reaching for your oats? Here’s how to make it…

1. Pop the oats, almond milk and cinnamon in a pan and bring to the boil.
2. Simmer for around 7-8 minutes. You don’t want a solid consistency as you will be adding other wonderful ingredients that will bulk it up a little more. After about 8 minutes remove from the heat and stir in 2 tbsp of ground flax seeds, which will provide you with protein and Omega 3s, while acting as an anti-inflammatory.
3. Next, stir in your Minvita Aguaje Powder and frozen raspberries.
4. To add a little autumn comfort, sprinkle a little ground cinnamon over your porridge.
